

Fruit Pie
Your choice of fruit pie filling inside crescent dough or sweet brioche bread. Top off with a sprinkle of powdered sugar!
Equipment
- Pudgy pie iron
Ingredients
- 2 slices brioche bread or crescent roll dough
- fruit pie filling
- powdered sugar, optional
Instructions
- Rub pudgy pie iron with butter
- Butter one side of each slice of bread
- Place one slice of bread, butter side down, into pie iron. If using crescent roll dough, break 2 triangles from roll and then press seams together to create a square. Press into pie iron.
- Add fruit filling on top of bread / dough
- Top with other slice of bread, butter side up. If using crescent roll dough, break 2 triangles from roll and then press seams together to create a square. Place on top of filling.
- Close pie iron and cook over hot coals or fire until both sides are toasted
- Sprinkle powdered sugar over top if desired
- Let cool before eating – filling will be very hot!
Notes
White bread can be used as a substitute for brioche.
