Grilled Beef and Provolone

Thin slices of roast beef paired with provolone cheese, grilled onions and a little horseradish.

Equipment

  • Pudgy pie iron

Ingredients
  

  • 1 onion bun, split
  • 3-4 slices thinly sliced roast beef
  • 2 slices provolone cheese
  • sauted onions
  • horseradish sauce

Instructions
 

  • Spray pudgy pie iron with oil
  • Place bottom of the onion bun into pie iron
  • Spread horseradish sauce onto bun
  • Top with roast beef, cheese and onions
  • Top with other side of onion bun
  • Close pie iron and cook over hot coals or fire until toasted
  • Let cool for several minutes before eating - contents are very hot!

Notes

Add sauted peppers if you like, or make it spicy with some slices of jalepeno. Prepared horseradish can be used in place of horseradish sauce.
